Whether you want to get out of pain, improve athletic performance, or simply get the most out of life, Mendota Heights chiropractor Dr. Andrew Newman wants to help! The number one reason people are attracted to Lifestyle Chiropractic & Wellness is patient referrals because our current patients have great experiences and see life-changing results with our care.
We pride ourselves on providing an encouraging, safe environment where you feel welcomed, supported, and heard. Taking the time to listen and get to know our patients, we work with you in a team approach to help you reach your health goals naturally with corrective care that goes beyond simple pain relief.
In addition to providing expert one-on-one care to help our patients live their best lives, we are committed to supporting our community through philanthropic donations and many team sponsorships. Our involvement in athletics includes education about injury prevention, improved performance, and what people can do to keep their bodies healthy and active.
Many of our patients are fourth-grade through eighth-grade athletes, and we love the opportunity to help them improve their health and performance from a young age!

GET TO KNOW DR. ANDREWMost people begin care with the goal of getting out of pain. And that's a great first step! But we're interested in finding out what this pain is restricting you from doing in life—and getting you back to doing that is the goal we're focused on with our corrective approach to care.
We take the time to identify the underlying cause of your pain or other symptoms, then create a solid game plan to correct the problem at its source so you get life-changing results. Our corrective care services include spinal correction, neuromuscular reeducation, therapeutic and physiotherapy, intersegmental traction, neck traction, and massage.
WHAT IS IT?
When joints are misaligned or stuck—what chiropractors call subluxations—it creates tension throughout the nervous system. Here, every patient receives a full "nose to toes" adjustment, because the whole body moves as one connected unit. Techniques include Diversified, Motion Palpation, Extremity Manipulation, Soft Tissue Mobilization, Trigger Point Therapy, and FMS Taping.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Anyone dealing with pain, restricted movement, or tension, from young athletes to seniors, as well as those focused on maintaining optimal health rather than simply managing symptoms.
BENEFITS
WHAT IS IT?
Athletes face physical stresses that go far beyond daily demands, and the resulting spinal misalignments create nerve interference that limits mobility, speed, and recovery. Dr. Andrew assesses alignment, movement patterns, and muscle strength to identify imbalances before they lead to injuries, then applies corrective care to address the root cause rather than the symptoms.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Athletes of all ages and levels, including those dealing with hip restrictions, back pain, shoulder and elbow issues, or sports-related pain that hasn't fully resolved with other treatment.
BENEFITS
WHAT IS IT?
Massage works on the soft tissues that chiropractic adjustments alone can't fully address. Licensed therapists here work in close coordination with Dr. Andrew; he communicates which areas are "stuck" so the soft tissue work and adjustments reinforce each other. Some techniques include Deep Tissue, Sports, Swedish, Relaxation, Stretching, Cupping, and Hot Stones.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Anyone carrying physical tension, recovering from an injury, or looking to get more out of their chiropractic adjustments, and really, anyone who needs a genuine reset.
BENEFITS
WHAT IS IT?
Gentle adjustments keep the spine and pelvis properly aligned as the body shifts through each trimester. Pregnancy pillows make face-down positioning comfortable, and face-up adjustments are always an option too. Prenatal massage is available on-site, and postpartum care helps restore alignment in the spine, hips, and pelvis after delivery.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Expecting moms experiencing back pain, sciatica, numbness, or tingling, as well as those seeking proactive support for a more comfortable pregnancy and smoother delivery and recovery.
BENEFITS
WHAT IS IT?
Adjustments for babies and children use an extremely gentle touch, roughly the pressure used to test a tomato for ripeness, or the low-force Activator Methods® instrument. Before any adjusting, Dr. Andrew gets on the child's level to play and build rapport. No child is ever forced or rushed.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Infants and children of all ages, including newborns who experienced birth trauma, and kids dealing with colic, digestive issues, ear infections, ADD/ADHD, or general developmental support needs.
BENEFITS
WHAT IS IT?
Even a minor collision strains the ligaments, discs, and joints of the spine in ways that may not hurt immediately but can accelerate arthritic changes over time. Care starts with a thorough consultation, full spinal X-rays, and a customized corrective care plan. The practice bills auto insurance directly and coordinates with outside providers when needed.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Anyone who has been in a car accident, whether symptoms are present or not, especially those with neck pain, stiffness, or soreness they want addressed before it becomes a chronic problem.
BENEFITS
WHAT IS IT?

Dr. Andrew's personal top picks are also available as a curated list for patients who want a trusted starting point.
WHO IS IT FOR?
